Well, having gone to Forbidden Planet on Shaftesbury Avenue on Friday to get the new Heart of Faerie Oracle signed by not only Brian Froud but also his wife Wendy, I have felt extremely inspired to paint faeries this weekend!
So here is the Goddess, Faery of Starlight
She sprinkles the stars into the night sky for us every night and then carefully puts them away again come morning. She's unable to be everywhere at once, which is why sometimes it's cloudy. When she's around though, you can be sure to view the most magical scene from earth, of a twinkling majestic chorus of stars filling the heaven's above.
