Come On A Journey With Me

Well this is most likely my last painting of 2009, unless by some miracle I get enough free time in the next 6 days to sit down with my watercolours and create.

I am really contented with this, really happy with how it turned out. The inspiration came from a knitting magazine we bought my boyfriends Mum as one of her Christmas presents. There were a series of photographs of beautiful knitted gloves, hats, shawls and scarves which corresponded with the patterns in the magazine. They were all based on an 'Alice in Wonderland' theme and immediately inspired me. I quite liked the idea of a 'Potion Pixie', tempting you to join her on a magical journey into Faerieland.
I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
